...

*sigh*.  Another terrible day.  120 things listed and no sales!  Surely someone wants something I have up!

It is easy to get discouraged when you go through these rough spots.  It makes me want to close my store and just throw everything away.  I truly don't know what else to do with my stuff.  I've got fancy borders around my listings, I've checked and double checked my categories, titles, descriptions, etc.  I don't know what else to do, so I guess I'll just wait it out.

I'm tired of writing whiney posts.  I promise the next post I write will be positive!

  1. I had to refigure my entire store. I had to figure out what were the fast flips and at what price they sold for fastest. That way I had income constantly coming in so my more expensive items could sit and wait for the perfect buyer. So far I have had more sales just in the first week of January than I did in the whole month of December. It's not a lot of money but it certainly is encouraging.

  2. I see from Twitter that you've sold THREE items! It never rains and then it pours, right?? It had been really slooow for me last week. I had a blogger friend who's been selling like crazy do an honest peek at my store items, and she made some recommendations that really helped! Sometimes it takes a fresh eye to look at stuff...

  3. I think a lot of us are feeling the same way as you are! I have lots of watchers, but nobody is pulling the trigger! So depressing! I just try to keep listing and not think about it, but it certainly affects my MOOD!

  4. CindyLou, It is depressing! Things have picked up a little and I've gained more watchers *sigh*. A couple $9 and $10 auctions ended, too, so that's something, I suppose. I feel better about stuff today than I did yesterday, for sure.

I've thought about asking someone to take a look at my store and give some feedback, but I know myself well enough to know I DO NOT handle criticism well, so I'll just wait until I'm SUPER desperate.

  5. Some times I change the wording in the title just to see if that helps. You might try that!

  6. CindyLou, I just got off the phone w/ ebay and that's basically what he told me to do. But I have and it hasn't helped...oh well. We'll try it again, I guess!
